Ayn Rand was one of the most terrible people to happen to America.
Lost on her followers (among many other things) is the fact that even though she was screaming that FDR was making America a fascist state, it did not become a fascist state. Funny how history continues to repeat itself and these people never get it.
Ayn Rand surely suffered from undiagnosed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of having to escape Lenin's Soviet Union. As a result, she saw the boogieman everywhere and convinced others to be afraid, be very afraid. She was a nutjob. The capitalists and the mentality of greed she glorified and preached are responsible for this economic mess, as well as too little government intervention.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...uh...uh...you can't get fooled again.
