It's a cucumber, for chrissakes!

Suit Planned Over Sex-Ed Program in Montgomery
When I read there would be a video, I thought, "How strange. That's going a little too far." Then I saw that the demonstration was with a cucumber.

Sheltering your child from learning about safe sex is irresponsible and immoral. You'd rather let your kid get an STD? If they are going to have sex, they are going to have sex.

  1. stop forcing your beliefs on other people, maybe they would stop trying to force their's on you too.

  2. in this situation, one side has to be forced. you either teach kids sex-ed or you don't. and if you don't, the chances of them getting diseases or pregnant are much higher.

are diseases and ignorance better than protection and knowledge?

  3. maybe the parents are more comfortable teaching their children.

i know the leftist approach to any situation is, "whay can government do?"

but there are alternatives to government involvement.

  4. school is a place for learning. if they don't want their kids learn about sex, they should home school them. there's a doubleplusgood side to that in that the kid won't be exposed to social interaction with other kids, thus reducing the chance of the kid having sex.

  5. judgung by the scores in math and science for US students it might be better to concentrate on these real topics vs. some leftist agenda in regards to school curric.

  6. Hey, the left isn't the one focusing on sex-ed. It's just part of the curriculum. It's the right that is taking focus and energy away from math and science by being "offended."

  7. maybe sex-ed should be dropped then.

if you want to keep kids from having sex/babies just show them that awful Rosie O'Donnell movie someone else on this site referenced.
